Today, I found a box stuffing in my cubard that was almost expired, so I mixed it up. Served it with left over Au Gratin potatoes. Total estimated cost 46 cents.
My lunch tonight will be left over potatoes, cream corn and corn bread stuffing. I will fill like I am eating like a king, when lunch time rolls around about 3 am.
Yeah, the King of Carbs maybe....dude, get some protein and whole grains in that diet!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments, yep there a lot of carbs. However, bread is made out of grain and bread makes the stuffing ie: I ate grains.
I also have eaten sandwiches the last few days, again bread=grain.
I have been adding a few other things here t get some additional flavor to the constant beans and rice. However, it is about time to eat ham & beans again and have some protein in my diet. Although, I did post yesterday morning about a peanut butter and honey sandwich, and peanut butter is protein to. Keep watching and you will see meals of rice also.
