While my ebay sales ended for the 2nd week in a row with no bids, I was mentioned in three carnivals.
Carnival of Debt Reduction,
Carnival of Captilists and
Carnival of Future Millionaires. If there were other Carnivals I will post links to them, as soon as I become aware of them.
Are you starting off your auctions with a low price? If you're not getting any bids, it is likely that your initial prices are too high, and if you continue to list things with this strategy, you're giving money to eBay for the "failed" listings.
ReplyDeleteI am a big proponent of listing auctions on all reasonably common items with an opening bid of $0.01. In this way, you minimize the costs from eBay and virtually guarantee yourself both watchers and bidders, which always turn themselves into dollars. If you'd like some examples of this at work, visit my site and look for a post about eBay and I'll give you a few of my active auctions - you can compare what they're getting to what other auctions for the same item are getting.
Good luck on eBaying!
