Fox Business Network & Dish

I just got off the phone with Dish Network. The reason for my call is to ask if they would be carrying the new FOX Business Network, when it launches Oct 15. According to the lady I talked on the phone with, the new channel currently is not in the line-up. As a fan of Dave Ramsey, I want to make sure he will I will be able to see him, when I am not working.

As such I am requesting that all my readers take a minute or so to fill out the contact form and let Dish know that people want to see this new channel by clicking Here. Preferably in America's top 100 or 200.

Thank you for your help, and if you don't have Dish Network, don't forget to contact your own satellite or cable provider as well. Let's work together to make sure every major satellite and cable provider carries the new channel beginning on day 1.

  1. If you are always so deep in the hole on debts, why do you have Dish netowrk - that seems like a luxury, and I am sure your buddy Dave Ramsey would not approve.

  2. My dish network was disconnected a little over a month ago.

  3. As someone who followed Dave's plan and is now debt free, I enjoy watching him and getting more advice from him. Also, over 70% of households in America have Cable or some other sort of pay television; it's not exactly a luxury.

  5. Right, anonymous, Dave Ramsey doesn't want the debt-ridden to spend money on extras such as satellite TV--except for the courses he sells!

Dave wants you to work two or three jobs and ignore your family for a few years, just to pay off your Master card and Visa. A better solution for most people: bankruptcy. You keep your sanity, and can get reasonably priced credit again in two or three years.

  6. Anonymous -

Save your money and Pay cash for everything. If you get credit again, you will soon be in financial trouble once again.

Yes - because credit was so good for them the first time!

  8. I'm just glad I'm not a responsibility shirking douche that would file for bankruptcy.

My whole household children included are working on becoming debt free since discovering Dave. We haven't bought his books or classes, his website offers plenty of free tools and advice.

With American debt in the trillions, what in the world is wrong with being responsible?

And seriously Dish is like $20 a month, even Dave's plan says to allow for entertainment and family activities.

  9. I agree with Scott about being a douche. I think its PATHETIC if you buy, buy, buy and then claim bankruptcy because of your own laziness and irresponsibility!!! I think another word for bankruptcy is stealing. (Unless its due to medical bills or something like that)

We're working on the $15,000 worth of debt plus $27,000 of cars and motorcycle. Since March 1, 2008 we've paid off $9,000 and next week $2300 from the motorcycle!!!

Anyways, I already have the Dish Top 250 package, so I expect there to be ALL the channels!!! I LOVE Dave Ramsey!!!
