This 1952 cartoon that I first seen on Finance Professors blog, is very interesting as it discusses the stock market, despite it's gender biases that was so prevalent in that era.
Discussing faith, business, personal finance, news (business and financial related), politics, and pretty much everything else.
The 40's were a period of extraordinarily low interest rates, just like recent years. That's really the only reason the guy might consider investing in stocks before paying off his car. House is not so clear.
