After nearly eight months of negotiations, Comcast, the
nation's largest cable operator, reached an agreement on
Thursday to acquire the television network, NBC Universal,
from General Electric in deal worth $30 billion.
That according to the New York Times, this morning. The deal will include spinning off NBC into a separate company from GE.
