Fraudulant Charges

I have found another excellent reason to bank online (my old credit card, also allowed me to view my account activity throughout the month). Last night, when I woke up (I work nights), I logged into my bank account and seen two (2) charges for $9.95 that I did not recognize. I tried to call the number listed for one of them and the phone company said the number didn't exist. The other number, had a guy stuttering, asking that I leave a message or for "faster achievment" to email them. This morning, when my credit union, first opened for the day, I went in and talked to the the president, and then to another person, to fill out paperwork on the fraudlant charges. By doing this, the charges were redeposited into my bank account. They also cancelled my debit card and issued me a new one.

When I arrived back home, I put both of these company names into the search engine and found a link on the Better Business Bureau website regarding one of the names. My search also seem to indicate that even though they are in 2 different statesthat they are really the same. In addition, a message board indicated another name that seems to be linked.
Below are those three names (*=names that were on my debit card):
* KCsoftLLC.com
* U-webTemplate.com
absolute-soft.com

Check your debit card and credit cards (if you still have the nasty CC's) regularly for any fraudlant charges.

Here is the link to the BBB's information.

  1. I have a company vehicle...so the company supplies me a card for the fuel I put in it. I've also had a $9.95 charge on my card every month for the last 6 at least.

    We've called the credit card company every month and advised them that it's fraudulent. I did some thorough searching on the internet and found the company name, the name of the guy running it, etc. One newsgroup even gave out his HOME phone number. So, I called it. I got a middle-eastern sounding lady, obviously his wife...and obviously tired of all the calls. She told me that he was at work, and that she didnt have his phone number. I asked her why she didn't have his work phone number and she stonewalled me. We continue to get the charges, the only thing we can do is cancel my card and get a new one. I just can't go without fuel for 2 weeks...so we haven't done it yet.
