8 Signs America is Becoming a Police State

Can you believe it? America is becoming a police state. More and more of our liberties, guaranteed us by the Constitution are being taken away from us. The following are 30 signs that the United States of America is being turned into a police state or as some have suggested a giant prison.

1. In April 2009 the department of Homeland Security issued a report that stated: Christian's who believe in end time prophecies are potentially dangerous.

Historically, domestic rightwing extremists have feared, predicted, and anticipated a cataclysmic economic collapse in the United States. Prominent antigovernment conspiracy theorists have incorporated aspects of an impending economic collapse to intensify fear and paranoia among like-minded individuals and to attract recruits during times of economic uncertainty. Conspiracy theories involving declarations of martial law, impending civil strife or racial conflict, suspension of the U.S. Constitution, and the creation of citizen detention camps often incorporate aspects of a failed economy. Antigovernment conspiracy theories and “end times” prophecies could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition, and weapons. So I guess the first amendment no longer exists, since they say make the argument that anyone who believes in these teachings straight from the Bible is a potential terrorist. The First Amendment of the United States Constitution protects the right to freedom of religion and freedom of expression from government interference. Yet we see here that even teachings from the Bible that are older from then the Consitution is now being deemed as signs of a potential terrorist, thus we can easily see that the government is interfering with the free exercise of the Christian religion, in direct disregard of the first amendment of the U. S. Constitution. Despite the fact that the majority of the founders and writers of the Constitution were Christians themselves, believing in the very things that are now being deemed as signs of potential terrorists. I don't know about you, but this scares me. I love this country, but some high ranking officials are going to far with this one. Are there extremists that seize upon this portion of the Bible? Yes, we all know there is. However, the early founders that signed the Deceleration of Independence would also have been considered "extremists" and antigovernment. So we have to be more careful in who we are calling terrorists.
2. In February 2009, Missouri issued a report called, "MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement" that made the claim that potential terrorists could be those are view the so called "New World Order" as a potential threat, Anti-abortion activists, those that have a negative view of the United Nations, and gasp those that against illegal immigration.
That's tight if you oppose illegal activity you might be terrorist. We aren't talking about legal immigration, we talking illegal immigration. Not only that, if you question the purpose of the United Nations in anyway negatively, you could be a terrorists. But wait if you are "pro-life," you to might be a terrorist. So lets see lets look at myself, I am a Christian believing the Bible to be literal, so because I believe in "end times prophecies," am "pro-life," question the United Nations, am concerned about the "New World Order," and want to see immigrants come to this country legally rather then illegally then they are lumping me into this group despite for my hatred of guns although I do support the second amendment. How can this be? We fought a war against England to gain our freedoms from such tyranny, yet now our own government is treating us this way?
3. So to the FBI has issued a report lists suspicious activities as paying in cash.
   
   

   Insist on paying in cash...
   having missing hands/fingers...
   Make Bulk purchases of items to include:
   Weatherproofed ammunition or match containers
   Meals ready to eat
   Night vision devices; night flashlights; gas mask

Really? Ready to eat meals? That's most Americans. There a huge number of people who stock there freezers with ready to eat meals. Even more that has an ample supply of food in their pantries. I guess I should be reporting anyone who buys frozen dinners and prepared meals from my grocery stores deli. Since Dave Ramsey, John Cummuta, and myself all preach against using credit cards and instead paying with cash, we must be terrorists. Give me a break. Do these sound suspicious to you?
4. Feeling a little nervous about something? Well according to a London Telegraph newspaper report in Oct 2011, that could get you classified as a terrorist.
   

   Using cameras and sensors the "pre-crime" system measures and tracks changes in a person's body movements, the pitch of their voice and the rhythm of their speech.
   
   It also monitors breathing patterns, eye movements, blink rate and alterations in body heat, which are used to assess an individual's likelihood to commit a crime.
   
   The Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST) programme is already being tested on a group of government employees who volunteered to act as guinea pigs.
   
   The first test was carried out at an undisclosed location in the north-eastern United States.
   
   According to the Department of Homeland Security it was not at an airport, but was at a "large venue that is a suitable substitute for an operational setting".

5. In November 2011, Senator Joe Lieberman sent a letter to Google asking the tech giant to place a "terrorist button" on blogger for readers to flag content as potential terrorist as it as done in November 2010 on it's YouTube site.
   
6. In a bill introduced in Congress by Senators Carl Levin (D-Mich.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) in November 2011.
   

   In what may be a tale too bizarre to be believed by millions of Americans, the U.S. Senate appears ready to pass a bill that will designate the entire earth, including the United States and its territories, one all-encompassing “battlefield” in the global “war on terror” and authorize the detention of Americans suspected of terrorist ties indefinitely and without trial or even charges being filed that would necessitate a trial.
   
   The bill could come to a vote as early as today, according to a bulletin issued by the American Civil Liberties Union. The legislation “goes to the very heart of who we are as Americans,” the ACLU statement said, describing the bill as having moved toward passage while most Americans were celebrating Thanksgiving and a long holiday weekend for millions of U.S. workers. “The Senate will be voting on a bill that will direct American military resources not at an enemy shooting at our military in a war zone, but at American citizens and other civilians far from any battlefield — even people in the United States itself,” the ACLU warned.

   The bill which was passed and signed into law allows the U.S. Military to to arrest any and hold any U. S. citizen and hold them indefinitely without trial, in direct contrast to due process. In an article from the PPJ Gazette there are three unconstitutional things this new law does
   

   1) Explicitly authorize the federal government to indefinitely imprison without charge or trial American citizens and others picked up inside and outside the United States;
   (2) Mandate military detention of some civilians who would otherwise be outside of military control, including civilians picked up within the United States itself; and
   (3) Transfer to the Department of Defense core prosecutorial, investigative, law enforcement, penal, and custodial authority and responsibility now held by the Department of Justice.
   Yes the Illuminati and Barak Obama, are passing into legislation the right to arrest anyone anywhere without trial and dispose of them by any means they see fit. The book of Revelation had a name for this time period; the beginning of the three years of tribulation. No opposition will be tolerated. All opposition will be silenced.

7. According to Wired Magazine, American Government agencies have set up fake cell towers.
   

   You make a call on your cellphone thinking the only thing standing between you and the recipient of your call is your carrier’s cellphone tower. In fact, that tower your phone is connecting to just might be a boobytrap set up by law enforcement to ensnare your phone signals and maybe even the content of your calls.
   
   So-called stingrays are one of the new high-tech tools that authorities are using to track and identify you. The devices, about the size of a suitcase, spoof a legitimate cellphone tower in order to trick nearby cellphones and other wireless communication devices into connecting to the tower, as they would to a real cellphone tower.
   
   The government maintains that the stingrays don’t violate Fourth Amendment rights, since Americans don’t have a legitimate expectation of privacy for data sent from their mobile phones and other wireless devices to a cell tower. While the technology sounds ultra-new, the feds have had this in their arsenal for at least 15 years, and used a stingray to bust the notorious hacker Kevin Mitnick in 1995.

   No legitimate right to privacy? Say what? Again there goes our American Government as it basically tries to burn the Constitution. Someone tell me I am dreaming, please. Then wake me up. Is this really happening? So many attempts to walk on the Constitution. How can this be? When will us Americans wake up? Please someone! Anyone! Take a stand and tell the government to start following the Constitution.
   
Finally, even though there are many more examples the last one I am going to list is this one.
8. According to the Washington Post, in Washington D.C. the movements of every single car are tracked using automated license plate readers (ALPRs).
   

   More than 250 cameras in the District and its suburbs scan license plates in real time, helping police pinpoint stolen cars and fleeing killers. But the program quietly has expanded beyond what anyone had imagined even a few years ago.
   
   With virtually no public debate, police agencies have begun storing the information from the cameras, building databases that document the travels of millions of vehicles.
   
   Nowhere is that more prevalent than in the District, which has more than one plate-reader per square mile, the highest concentration in the nation. Police in the Washington suburbs have dozens of them as well, and local agencies plan to add many more in coming months, creating a comprehensive dragnet that will include all the approaches into the District.

   It can sound good when a criminal is arrested, especially a murderer, but the article continues and says.
   

   “It never stops,” said Capt. Kevin Reardon, who runs Arlington County’s plate reader program. “It just gobbles up tag information. One of the big questions is, what do we do with the information?”
   
   Police departments are grappling with how long to store the information and how to balance privacy concerns against the value the data provide to investigators. The data are kept for three years in the District, two years in Alexandria, a year in Prince George’s County and a Maryland state database, and about a month in many other suburban areas.

That's what makes this scary. They are just tracking everyone with the obscure hope of catching a criminal.

Government Wants to Take More of our Liberties

Did you know the government isn't content with the liberties they have taken from us already? They want even more control of our daily lives.  They literally have plans for what we read about only in the Revelations.
A recent report from the Rockefeller Foundation is evidence of that.
The report entitled, "Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development" from 2010 outlines a scenario in which 13,000 are killed in a bombing at the 2012 Olympics in London. Unfortunately this is not a scenario of what could happen, here is how we can prevent it. Rather it details
how the public will be more welcoming of a more authoritative government with a tighter control across all aspects of life, including Biometric IDs for all citizens

At first, the notion of a more controlled world gained wide acceptance and approval. Citizens willingly gave up some of their sovereignty — and their privacy — to more paternalistic states in exchange for greater safety and stability.
Citizens were more tolerant, and even eager, for top-down direction and oversight, and national leaders had more latitude to impose order in the ways they saw fit. In developed countries, this heightened oversight took many forms: biometric IDs for all citizens, for example, and tighter regulation of key industries whose stability was deemed vital to national interests. In many developed countries, enforced cooperation with a suite of new regulations and agreements slowly but steadily restored both order and, importantly, economic growth.

I don't know about you, but that is a scary thought. I mean it would be one thing to be running through worse case scenarios to fight crime and/or disasters, but using it to find ways to take away our freedoms is very scary to me. I mean compare to what the Bible has to say about end times.

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

You get that? The Bible predicted 2,000 years ago that there would be a one world government of some sort and that every man would be numbered in a way that they could be tracked.  As we see when this verse tells us that mo one would be able to buy or sell without the number of the beast.  This would seem to indicate what we now know as Biometric IDs, which is a computer chip inserted just under our skin so that they can track our every movement and require stores to scan the potential customers Biometric ID, in order to complete the transaction.  Likewise employers would be required to scan each potential employee before they could be hired.  If the government thinks they can fake a terrorist attack and usher in more control over us, then I have to do what i can do to resist, until I am either killed by this tyrannical government or the Lord Himself calls me home to be with Him. 
Believe me when I say I am no conspiracy theorist, but more reports I see like this, the more I have to question the official line of anything the government has to say.

CIA Chief David Petraeus says Appliances will Spy on you

Governments around the world spying on innocent citizens? No, I'm not just speaking of the so called red light cameras, which is keeping tabs on traffic and crowds in cities all over either. No it goes much further then that. Maybe not quite as far as the spy drones that were a topic on last nights hit series "Harry's Law," but I wouldn't be surprised about that either. Especially after the public admissions from the CIA head guy, David Petraeus, which lead me to believe it really is happening.
So how are they spying on us? Well it seems there are tiny cameras and microphones in new appliances. These so called smart appliances include washers, dryers and refrigerators.

CIA director David Petraeus has said that the rise of new “smart” gadgets means that Americans are effectively bugging their own homes, saving US spy agencies a job when it identifies any “persons of interest”.

Speaking at a summit for In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s technology investment operation, Petraeus made the comments when discussing new technologies which aim to add processors and web connections to previously ‘dumb’ home appliances such as fridges, ovens and lighting systems.

We as American citizens are to be called suspects in any crime. Instead we are being called persons of interest if the government so chose to track our personal devices. Like on last night's "Harry's Law" my concern would be the invasion of our 4th amendment rights with the possibility of such warrant-less searches.
Does this sound a lot like the so called fictional TV show, "Person of Interest"? It does to me to, and it scares me.

Still think this might be conspiracy theory? Let's take a lookat what Wired reported on their blog.

Earlier this month, Petraeus mused about the emergence of an “Internet of Things” — that is, wired devices — at a summit for In-Q-Tel, the CIA’s venture capital firm. “‘Transformational’ is an overused word, but I do believe it properly applies to these technologies,” Petraeus enthused, “particularly to their effect on clandestine tradecraft.”

All those new online devices are a treasure trove of data if you’re a “person of interest” to the spy community. Once upon a time, spies had to place a bug in your chandelier to hear your conversation. With the rise of the “smart home,” you’d be sending tagged, geolocated data that a spy agency can intercept in real time when you use the lighting app on your phone to adjust your living room’s ambiance.

Still not convinced? Let's look at what was reported by the BBC.

Arm Holdings has unveiled what it describes as the "world's most energy-efficient microprocessor" design.

The firm says that microcontrollers based on the "Flycatcher" architecture will pave the way for the "internet of things" - the spread of the net to a wider range of devices.

It suggests that fridges and other white goods, medical equipment, energy meters, and home and office lighting will all benefit from the innovation.

Watch out: the CIA may soon be spying on you—through your beloved, intelligent household appliances, according to Wired.

In early March, at a meeting for the CIA’s venture capital firm In-Q-Tel, CIA Director David Petraeus reportedly noted that “smart appliances” connected to the Internet could someday be used by the CIA to track individuals. If your grocery-list-generating refrigerator knows when you’re home, the CIA could, too, by using geo-location data from your wired appliances, according to SmartPlanet.

“The current ‘Internet of PCs’ will move, of course, toward an ‘Internet of Things’—of devices of all types—50 to 100 billion of which will be connected to the Internet by 2020,” Petraeus said in his speech. He continued:

Items of interest will be located, identified, monitored, and remotely controlled through technologies such as radio-frequency identification, sensor networks, tiny embedded servers, and energy harvesters—all connected to the next-generation Internet using abundant, low cost, and high-power computing—the latter now going to cloud computing, in many areas greater and greater supercomputing, and, ultimately, heading to quantum computing.

Another media source reported:

While discussing an "Internet of things," Petraeus said household devices with online connectivity will change the notion of secrecy, indicating the rise of these devices will create a fresh wave of privacy concern.

Devices collecting data from a home can potentially watch anything inside it, gathering information that may be stored in the parent company's server. Such data may be subject to review by regulators, or probes by agencies like the CIA if the user is a person of interest, sparing law enforcement the step of bugging the home, Petraeus said.

"Items of interest will be located, identified, monitored, and remotely controlled through technologies such as radio-frequency identification, sensor networks, tiny embedded servers, and energy harvesters -- all connected to the next-generation internet using abundant, low-cost, and high-power computing," Petraeus said, according to Wired. "The latter now going to cloud computing, in many areas greater and greater supercomputing, and, ultimately, heading to quantum computing."

Federal laws keep the CIA from spying on just anyone without a warrant or proper judicial procedure. But multiple cases of agencies tracking GPS data without a warrant nudge the boundaries of Fourth Amendment privacy protections, and laws that predate today's technology could be vaguely interpreted when applied to data residing in a cloud.

There lies the concern. As I mentioned earlier in this post and now in this latest quote. The fourth amendment protects us from illegal search and seizures. These kind of devices and spy tools open the door for the government to spy on us while we are in the shower, making out with our spouses and plain just spying on us without cause in our on private homes, hoping to catch us doing something they deem illegal. Is that the kind of society you want to live in? I know it's not the kind i want. I enjoy the freedoms that our Constitution affords us, but some of our leaders like CIA Chief Petraeus seems bent on ignoring the Constitution and taking our freedoms from us.

Who Are The Occupiers?

For over a month we heard stories about Occupy Wall Street, with a group of individuals protesting big business. This movement has since spread to other cities around the globe. Likewise a group known as Occupy Austin has been gathered outside Austin's City Hall to protest their grievances. Recently they collectively walked to Skank Bank of America and other national banks withdraw all their money and close their account and redeposit their money into new accounts at local credit unions. An act I fully support.
With this group being downtown I thought I would go downtown to talk to some of those protesting. While I was there I seen/heard a number of drivers honking their horns in support of the protestors, while a small cars contained people shouting, "Get a job." Despite all the commotion the demonstrators didn't seem deterred from their protests. So what is on the minds of these protestors? Why are they protesting?

These are some of the questions I wanted answered. I was tired of hearing people say that this group wanted to overthrow the government. That they wanted to establish a socialist government. So I decided to go to them and hear in their own words what they had to say.  

The first person I talked to was Larry Singleton (age 53). He was the only one to give me his last name.  He told me

I'm here because I was placed here by God because...actually I am dying of emphysema, COPD and P.A.D. I'm looking to build a facility for some of the homeless vets and non-homeless.

Hmm, sounds like a very advantageous goal. Unfortunately, he was arrested at the beginning of the Occupy Austin for public intoxication. While I would love to see his ideas to become a reality, I have to question whether her really could do it. Still though he was really the only one that seemed willing to step forward and do something about the problem they saw. What is his idea plan of action?

I have the Lord behind me. He's woke me up and showed me that I am dying and he's also stated that he's going to do a facility for the people so when you (himself) are gone, they will enjoy it.

The next person I talked to was Gabriele (age 24). His answer seemed more typical of what you I've been hearing from the Occupy Wall Street coverage on the news. In that he said,

I guess looking to just put power back in our hands and take it (the power) out of the money.

When asked if had any solutions to this problem; he replied,

No! As a 24-year old I expect grown men who are 40 and actually seen how the United States to have evolved, I expect them to practically put their knowledge to use. I'm here to back good ideas. If I come up with one, I'll let you know. Sorry I don't have much political knowledge.

The next person I interviewed was Amber (age 24). Amber seemed to be the most intelligent at least when it came to the political system. Whether her claims were accurate or not is not the topic of this story (perhaps I will do another story later in the week).

Amber (age: 24)

POT: Why are you here?

Amber: To protest, maybe get a change. It's the little things I would like to get to happen.

POT: What do you hope to accomplish by being here?

Amber: To see the world open her eyes. see what is going on. Because people look the other way.

POT: What changes would you like to see?

Amber: Probably, definitely for the better. To help.There is a lot about the government that I do agree with but it's the little things like where are they going to put the money for this budget. Why are they so overdrawn? Like they expect us to pay all of our bills, but they can't even balance a checkbook.

Why are there so many homeless people? Why are there so many people that don't have Medicare? They are just on the street dying because they can't afford the right medications.

POT: If Government don't have any money, How are they going to pay for all this?

Amber: This beautiful building (Austin City Hall) right here is made out of copper. Seventeen ($17) million dollars of copper just setting there on that roof. I mean, why can't they just put regular brick or glass on top of the building like all the rest of them? Why is the $17 million just setting there? You know $17 million dollars can feed so many people and help so many people out.

POT: Do you have any ideas as to how to accomplish these changes?

Amber: I figure we should get people that aren't as spoiled. Like if they mess up , if they go to jail they get a slap on the wrist. They can go drink and drive. They next day they are out of jail. Everything's fine, nothing on their record. Their spoiled and they know they are spoiled. They are getting paid all this money to do what? If they can't do their job, then we can't do it for them. So I figure if we pay them like normal people to help everything else and maybe have 2 or 3 people doing that one job so they can figure out different ways, then it will be okay.

POT: Do you have any aspirations about running for city council or maybe another public office?

Amber:No. I feel it is to corrupted right now. Until they get better people I won't stand for it.

POT:  If you feel they need better people, why not run and maybe you can be one of those better people?

Amber: It's kind like I would be the little stick in the river. Like a little stick is not going to do much in the river, but if you get a bunch of sticks then a bunch of things will happen.

Kevin: But doesn't it start with one person?

Amber: It does, but you have to have rain drops to get the river.

The final person I talked to was Kendall (age 20), who said,

I don't support the fed and I don't support the fiat system I think it's ponzi (scheme).

When asked how he planned to accomplish solving the problems that he sees. He said,

Still looking for the next epiphany. I haven't seen a single corporation go to jail for 80-years for killing anybody. So you know I'm just trying to go off of practical stuff. Separation of state and corporation could be one extension of that of that thought. Because as sovereign states we are really going to do a lot better for ourselves if we have a green standard.

Let's face it, I agree with some of these people. However, many of these people seem to be protesting only because it's something to do. Most, I won't say all, seem to only be protesting just to complain. They don't seem to have any ideas to correct the problems that they see. Most even don't appear to be willing to even put themselves out as the agent of change that they so desperately seek. Sadly that is most Americans though. We all want to complain and whine about how terrible everything is, but we won't rise up to make those changes that we want.

Standing Ovation as Gabrielle Giffords Returns to House Floor

Gabrielle Giffords received a standing ovation as she returned to house floor just in time to cast her vote on US debt limit bill.

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., returned to Congress tonight for the first time since being shot in the head in January, casting a vote in support of the compromise debt ceiling bill.

"Gabrielle has returned to Washington to support a bipartisan bill to prevent economic crisis," read a message posted to Giffords' Twitter account while members began casting their votes on the House floor.

Not long beforehand, her Twitter account announced, "Gabrielle has returned to Washington to support a bipartisan bill to prevent economic crisis."

Giffords, 41, if you will remember was seriously injured in a shooting rampage in Tucson, Arizona, on January 8 that killed six and left the lawmaker plus 12 others wounded.

I would like to welcome Gabrielle back to Congress. I may not agree with much of her politics, but I applaud that she survived the assassins bullet.

Observations On Chuck

After watching Monday nights Chuck, I had some thoughts that I thought I would share with all of you. Perhaps you even began thinking the same thing after seeing that particular program.
In the show they learn of another intersect before chuck. One before Chuck was even born. He was known as Agent X. AS they try to find out who Agent X really was they find from some redacted files the name Hartley. Which leads them to a house in England. One thing leads to another but after an old lady claims to not know who Hartley is; other then he was a previous tenant in the house. She learns who Chuck's dad (Steven Bartoski aka Orion) is (who she tells Chuck was close to her son). Upon learning that she decides to help them when Vivian Volkoff's goons come looking for answers for Agent X. Even blowing up her own house when she runs out of ammunition.

Back in California (inside "Castle") they open the book that was given to them by the lady who we learned was Hartley's mom. Inside they locked box was a single photograph of Agent X. Here we begin to really learn that Agent X was a CIA agent who went rogue. In fact he has been a most want criminal mastermind throughout the show....Volkoof (who is in CIA custody). Yep, Vivian Volkoof's dad. Here at the urging of Jon Casey they stop looking for more answers because of what they uncover. Yet Casey had looked up something on the computer before he made that announcement. What did he see?

Back at home Ellie is encouraging Chuck to dig deeper. Saying there has to more that they didn't know. I think Ellie is right. I think Col. Casey is hiding something. Casey knows more then he is telling and I think I know what it is.

Here is what I think we will eventually find out (as Chuck won't let this sleep). I think eventually we will find that Chuck's dad and Volkoof are actually brothers. Meaning the show would be a whole lot more interesting. I mean think about it. Look at how he trusted his mom (an undercover CIA agent) when the CIA didn't. If he finds out he has family on both sides of the law. How will he handle that? Okay, what do you all think? Did you have some of the same thoughts after seeing the show?

Obama Birth Certificate Flap is Tiresome

The Obama birth certificate thing is in the news again. I find this whole thing to be a little annoying. I mean come-on. Trying to say the President wasn't born a U.S. citizen. That is absolutely ridiculous. we have more pressing matters to attend to and all we can focus on whether or not the President was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth? Really?
Let's face it, whether we like it or not Obama's mom was a U.S. citizen which automatically makes Obama a U.S. citizen the moment he was born no matter where in the world he is. We may not agree with his politics, but we are wasting our time on this birth certificate thing. Let's move on. Let's focus on real and pertinent issues that we face in American politics.
If you still want to focus on this birth certificate bunk then take a look at the pdf file of his certificate and move on. I for one was never caught up with all this debate, but I did look at the pdf file out of curiosity (and to make this post.

Evolution vs. Creationism

Yesterday at work I was talking to one of my co-workers. The conversation eventually ended up on the topic of evolution. He had a hard time understanding how evolution would take more faith to believe in then creationism would. His thought of course is based on how the schools teach evolution rather then what it actually is.

Right now you may be saying, "what do you mean Kevin?"

Well, glad you asked. It's simple. Teachers teach evolution as fact. That is until someone brings up creationism. Then they are quick to state that it is only a theory. First if it is a only theory, then they should be including other theories as well. I mean seriously. If it is only a theory with the the definition itself means that there is no concrete proof of. Yes, there is a lot of scientific evidence, but that's it, there is no concrete proof. In fact, they are often changing their story. Especially with the link between apes and man. They teach about this supposed link, but then they figure out the evidence has been fabricated and quietly they stop teaching about that link and discover a new link to teach.

I can understand some who are concerned about teaching a "religion" in public schools. However, it is possible to teach creationism without teaching abut the religious aspects. In fact you wouldn't have to even mention God. You can just follow the example of Alcoholics Anonymous and refer to the creator as a higher power. However, there are other theories. We really should be including all theories, if we are going to call evolution a theory.

Second, it takes more faith to believe evolution then it does creationism. You may be asking, "how's that?" Think about it this way. Evolution says that this world and universe was formed out of nothing. Take a look at just our own bodies. Look how intricate it is. Do you really think that it was formed out of nothing? Simply by accident? Expand that now to the trees. Each of the planets. Everything we are and can see in this universe is so intricate that there is no way that it could have been formed by accident. There had to be a designer.

Here is another way to think about it. Take a handful of nuts and bolts along with some metal and throw them all up in the air. Will they fall back down into a robot or some other machine? No! That would be stupid. Yet that is exactly what we are expected to believe happened when it comes to evolution. How ridiculous is that? It is much easier to believe that some higher power, like God, formed and created everything in nature.
